CHID Rome, Vienna, and Budapest: Legacies of Empires –
Power and Diversity.

In this post, I will continue to post about my travels in France!

Paris

During my second weekend in Italy, I took a plane to Paris to see my bestie Lauryn and her mother. They were there for the week on business. When I first got to Pairs I was very anxious because I was all by myself, the airport was very confusing, and it was a nightmare trying to find my uber. Luckily, I made it to the Hotel Georgette, which is where we stayed for the weekend. The weekend in Paris was incredible. We went to the Eiffel tower where we drank French Champagne with a baguette and fine cheese. We also went to the louvre, saw the Notre dame, got a caricature drawing of us under the Eiffel tower, and went to the Paris catacombs. The city was crazy busy because it was fashion week. Instead of walking we literally Lime Scootered everywhere. One-night Lauryn and I were walking to dinner and we happen to see Miss Jay from America’s Next Top Model. We literally ran 4 blocks to get a photo and we got it! the weather was cold with light rain, but it was still perfect. The entire time we were in Paris we kept talking about how lucky we are to explore the city of lights with each other as best friends at such a young age. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience.

Cheers!
