There are wonderful opportunities (and facilities) in León, Spain to organize study abroad programs for students, collaborate with local businesses or the University of Leon, and access the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. Santos Rodríguez, on-site coordinator of the UW León Center, will provide information on creating and leading programs there. Accompanying Santos will be two UW emeriti professors who have taught multiple times at UW León, Randy Beam and Jerry Baldasty.

Fully funded opportunities for U.S. citizens exist in 160+ countries around the world and range in duration from a few weeks to the entire academic year. Fulbrighters gain enrichment from cultural exchange by working, living and learning with people from the host country.

Culture and technology can exist simultaneously and often play a huge factor on one another. A group of business students (MBA and Undergraduates) traveled to Bangalore and Mysore India to see these interactions play out. From visiting companies like Boeing, Infosys, and Wipro to visiting temples, castles and even seeing a traditional Indian dance these students experienced it all.
