One of my favorite experiences during my time studying abroad was taking a cooking class. Some fellow students and I visited Ristorante Gusto, where we learned to make authentic tiramisu and ravioli. Surprisingly, both dishes turned out to be quite easy to prepare. After completing the cooking class, I couldn’t wait to recreate these delicious recipes for my family and friends. In fact, I’ve made tiramisu numerous times now for special occasions, and it’s always a big hit. If you’re contemplating studying abroad, I highly recommend considering a cooking class. Not only is it incredibly enjoyable, but it also allows you to share your experiences with others through the joy of food!

“Visiting the Colosseum was truly breathtaking. It’s difficult to fathom the events that took place within its walls. One particularly fascinating fact I learned was about the arena floor. The word “arena” translates to sand in Spanish, and the Colosseum’s arena floor was indeed covered in sand. As a Spanish speaker, it’s incredible to observe linguistic connections across different cultures.”
